Actor Bryan Arion’s Story of Courage and Perseverance

Classic rags to riches tales are always a favorite among readers. People can relate to the relentless struggle against the odds, and are inspired by the protagonist’s grit, resilience, and perseverance. Bryan Arion’s real-life story can beat any fictional one, to chronicle a saga of endless battles against the scariest challenges. Bryan is a rising actor and musician in the U.S. He has been seen in more than a few commercials and TV series , but what makes him stand out is his fight to chase his passion for acting.

Born in the mountainous terrains of Chilpancingo, Guerrero, crime and violent cartels were not just something Bryan saw on tv, they were very much real. He was only a kid when he heard of how his grandmothers father was brutally murdered in front of her as child by the narcos, because of this Bryan’s family lived in fear and poverty. Very early on, Bryan developed a passion for acting and often entertained his family by recreating scenes from movies.

Desperate to give 5-year-old Bryan the right environment to grow up in, his mother finally managed to escape Guerrero and immigrated to the U.S. They settled in a small town in North Carolina with a distant relative. Although the situation was much better in the U.S., Bryan faced other challenges in how he looked and spoke in this new area. He was discriminated against because of the color of his skin and because English was his second language. This was when Bryan was somewhat forced to discovered his love for mixed martial arts. Along with English, he learned jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai. Even winning jiu-jitsu tournaments while in high school. Eventually, he and his mom were given U.S. citizenship, and we’re able to travel to Mexico once a year in order to stay connected to their roots and remember where they came from.

With better opportunities coming his way in the U.S., Bryan began chasing his passion for acting through theater. During this time he performed in many plays and learned how to play guitar and piano. But when it was time for him to choose between his two loves in MMA and acting, Bryan chose to be a performer. He immersed himself in honing his acting skills and soon enough started his professional career. Bryan has appeared in several music videos, commercials, and TV shows such as Gum commercials, NBC’s “Days of Our Lives,” Michael Bay’s “The Last Ship” on TNT, and “Selena: The Series” on Netflix, to name a few. He is currently working on several other promising projects.

Coming from a crime-infested area, Bryan made his way into acting and was able to achieved success. For anyone born and raised in Guerrero, it is almost impossible to even think of living a life that doesn’t involve crime or a low-paying job, let alone a career in the entertainment field. Bryan overcame a series of challenges, from fear of being killed, to racism, but he never quit. He persisted in achieving his dreams and has set an example for other aspiring immigrants and artists in similar situations.

Bryan deeply believes in remaining positive. He feels that even the worst experiences in life can educate us in some way, and prepare us to be better in the future. Now Bryan welcomes any challenge because he knows he will grow wiser through each of them. With this positive attitude, Bryan wants to continue his love for acting and entertaining people around the world. He dreams of owning a film production company someday. Bryan also wants to write a book and eventually make a movie about the challenging journey his mother and grandmother were faced with, in order to inspire determination and perseverance in other
