Brie Nightwood is an Instagram model, adult entertainer, and an all-around entrepreneur. There are numerous content creator awards under her belt and a few businesses that she owns. From a young age, she has developed entrepreneurial skills.
When she was five, her father managed an eBay account for her. As a 12-year-old, she took a computer class that sparked her interest in scripting and coding. The same year, she created AppleScript-based Mac apps, which she sold as a home security bundle. Her income was probably around $10k a year, which was a lot for a kid her age. After that, she began crafting and selling jewelry on Poshmark and Depop sites.
Her life shifted to solely academics when she started college as a junior in high school, so she took a little time off from all of that. She joined streaming platforms at 18 because she had more free time. Brie mostly streamed herself playing video games while wearing skimpy clothes. She chose to take additional courses despite scholarships covering her living expenses. Due to the limitations of scholarships and her inability to earn enough money from streaming, she joined OnlyFans to help pay for college.
Due to the immense amount of income she was earning, she knew that this was an opportunity worth taking. She graduated two years early in forensic & neuropsychology and originally planned on joining a Ph.D. program in 2020. Additionally, she would always be able to rely on her education for support. However, her modeling and social media presence grew throughout 2020, and she finally took this to the next level in 2021. Nightwood Media pairs assistants with other models, a submarket in the industry where demand is high; and supply is low.
A real estate brokerage hired her in 2021 to do freelance work. Eventually, she hopes to launch an agency dedicated to assisting OnlyFans creators with the housing process, since this industry faces significant discrimination. As of 2022, she is co-owner of the subscription-based platform UnlockedXX, a rival to other modeling and subscription based platforms. A further point, not all models are rich, but uneducated. That’s what Brie wants the public to know. As a well-educated entrepreneur and science minded guru, Brie reinforces the notion that the modeling industry is not easy. Networking and marketing are the keys to becoming one of the top creators.
A person asked her what challenges she faces, and Brie responded, “The oversaturation within my industry. Getting a following is harder than ever, especially since I don’t fit into a specific niche besides E-girl. It’s not easy to stand out, but I’ve overcome it by being a college graduate and pursuing other business pursuits.”
According to Brie Nightwood, “it’s important to not push yourself into a box; and not let one aspect of your life define you. People are too complex to be defined by a standalone label. The term OnlyFans girl usually connotes negativity among many, primarily due to jealousy and religious beliefs. As a result, these people will make false assumptions about you as a person.”
In the future, Brie hopes that she will be able to create enough consistent passive income that she will never be required to work again if she doesn’t want to. She also wants to be a voice for any models who feel that they are wrongfully judged.
