They’re the largest European country (besides Russia), they’re home to gorgeous people, and the unfortunate nuclear tragedy (The Chernobyl disaster) took place here. Unfortunately, this year gave the world another reason to remember this country; Ukrainians are currently defending their nation from Russian invasion.

The Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, is a testament to how mentally-compromised teenagers need to be looked after. It’s one thing to exercise your right to bear arms, but to use it irresponsibly is another— gun violence and school shootings are serious and ongoing issues that are occurring in the country right now.

Numerous fans of the first Top Gun have been anticipating this sequel for decades, and finding out Tom Cruise is back to reprise his role got people to break the Internet. Top Gun: Maverick is the sequel to the 1986 movie Top Gun starring Tom Cruise.
